About Audio Editing & Mastering

This department is concerned with all that has to do with audio editing, and almost all sorts of audio manipulations. The specifics are as follows:

ACX Standardisation: Majorly concerned with audio-books. The audio-book script will be exactly followed. All mistakes, and extraneous sounds will be completely removed. The audio file will also be edited and treated to meet the submission requirements of the ACX.

Podcasts: All errors, unwanted sounds, repetitions, excess spaces between words, phrases, clauses, and sentences will be removed in order to ensure a smooth flow of audio recording. Sound uniformity will also be established throughout the audio. The overall sound quality will also be raised to professional sound quality.

Voice-Overs: Ensures an audio file follows its scripts seamlessly. All errors, unwanted sounds, repetitions, excess spaces between words, phrases, clauses, and sentences will be removed in order to ensure a smooth flow of audio recording. Sound uniformity will also be established throughout the audio. The overall sound quality will also be raised to professional sound quality.

Noise Removal/Reduction: Completely removes background noise (or a chosen sound) from an audio recording. Noise or sounds that cannot be completely removed will be reduced to the lowest minimum possible, in order to still retain the quality of the audio recording. You can also choose for the noise or sound to be reduced, even if it is possible to completely remove it.
It should be noted that some audio recordings can be rendered completely unredeemable by noise, and hence, there is nothing that can be done to clean it up without causing great harm to the good part. Please, if you suspect your file to be of such, use the "Evaluation" option in your account to submit your file to ascertain if it's redeemable; if you do not have an account with us, you can contact us with such file.

Echo (Or Reverb) Removal/Reduction: Completely removes echo and/or reverberation in an audio recording. Those that cannot be completely removed will be reduced to the lowest minimum possible, in order to still retain the quality of the audio recording.
It should be noted that some audio recordings can be completely unredeemable of echo or reverb, and hence, there is only little that can be done to clean it up without causing great harm to the good part. Cutting: Removes selected parts of an audio file (or a music file).

Padding: Increases the length of an audio file (or a music file) by adding silence or parts of the same audio file (or music file) to itself.

Joining: Merges two or more audio files together, end to end. Intros and outros can be added to your audio file using this options. Intro and outro files will be provided by you.

Mashing: Merges two or more music files together, end to end. This will involve only a simple fade-in and fade-out effect.

Insertion: Puts in one or more pieces of audio files, recorded separately or found within the same recording, into a single audio file. It presents a form of question-and-answer, or a call-and-response scenario like in an interview.

Tempo Change: Increases or decreases the speed in which an audio file (or a music file) plays.

Modulation: Increases or decreases the key (or pitch) of an audio file (or a music file).

Volume Change: Raises or reduces the volume level of parts of an (or the entire) audio file.

Volume Leveling: Equalises the volume level across the entire audio file.

Sound Underlay: Fuses an audio file (like background music, or any other you choose) into the background of the main audio file. All audio files to be used will be provided by you.

If what you seek isn't listed here, you can contact us (if you aren't signed up with us) telling us exactly what you seek; if you're signed up with us, you can use the "Evaluation" option found in your account to tell us what exactly you want. For both cases, if we have experts who can also do what you seek, we will get back to you with a positive response which will also state the cost and duration it will take to complete that which you seek. But if there is a problem with that, we will address you accordingly.

However, there are certain audio contents we do not work with. You can read about this here.
