Transcription Service Cost Calculator

Some of the terms used within the calculator are defined as follows:
  • Source language: The language used in the media file.
  • Unit: That in which the length of your media file is measured. This will be the unit of measurement for the value you will enter into the media length field.
  • Media Length: The length (in the unit you selected in unit) of your media file. Please, insert only numbers in the space provided: no commas, full stops, spaces, nor letters.
  • Clean: In the transcription mode list, suggests that the transcript will be completely free of um's, ah's, em's, and their likes. It will also be completely free of repetitions, stutterings, and mistakes.
  • Mild Verbatim: In the transcription mode list, suggests that the transcript will contain (in a moderate manner) um's, ah's, em's, and their likes. It will also moderately contain repetitions, but will not contain stutterings, and mistakes.
  • Complete Verbatim: In the transcription mode list, suggests that the transcript will contain all um's, ah's, em's, and their likes. It will also contain all repetitions, stutterings, and mistakes.
